Creating something new and bringing it out into the world is a BIG DEAL. In this episode, we are talking all about the mental and emotional load of launching a business or a new product. Tatiana shares ways for you to set yourself up for success no matter the outcome of the launch. We will also touch on how to face a failed launch and come back stronger to try again.

Episode Takeaways…

Be Willing To Take Risks + Don’t Play It Safe
Taking a risk comes with a lot of uncertainty but can also be a lot of rewards. Don’t let fear stop you from going all in and/or trying something new to see the result you desire. Your business thrives when you choose to get uncomfortable.

Be Realistic
Be open to the process and be willing to do the hard work. Overnight success is not the norm so always put in the work, implement the strategy and be consistent.

Bare It All With Your Story
A great way to connect with your audience is to share your story. There will be people out there that need to hear from you. It can be scary to share but it can also be so impactful. The story behind the product is so much deeper and it’s worth tapping into that. Your story can change a life or help someone feel like they aren’t alone.

Sharing my own story and process has built lasting relationships and a strong community that stands behind what I’m doing.

You don’t have to tell it all and every single detail but think of it as what can really help them.

This helps build the trust that you desire when growing a business.

Bare It All Behind The Scenes
Instead of waiting for things to be perfect and be willing to share what you are doing. People love to see this and it gives you another layer of authenticity that your audience will resonate it.

I shared myself leading up to the launch of my planner and my audience was so invested.

It’s emotional and it’s a risk to put yourself out there. But the return is so much greater to connect with those that you are assigned to.

Remove Your Worth From The Outcome
Good or bad don’t tie who you are into anything in your business. You are not the number of followers, units sold, or money made. If you are doing great and selling out it can be easy to get a big head or feel like you have arrived and know what you’re doing. There will always be ups and downs in your business and if it doesn’t go as well the next time it can feel like you are a failure.

You can feel like you are on top of the world one day and at the bottom of the pit the next day.
It’s business, it’s not personal, and detaching yourself from the outcome is important.

Set Measurable Goals
Have a targeted goal as well as a way to track it throughout the launch. This gives you a way to make changes when necessary during your launch period. Look at it as the milestones you need to be tracking such as an opt-in, waitlist signups, engagement, etc.

If you’re not seeing growth or the desired result, go back to the drawing board or keep educating them longer.

Make sure you know what your audience needs and that it’s relevant to them.

Falling Short Is An Opportunity (…here’s how you bounce back)

  • Take a breather
  • Revisit goals
  • Get outside opinions
  • Assess what worked well
  • What didn’t you try?
  • Was this launch relevant and timely for your audience?
  • TRY AGAIN (with all of your newfound information)

Keep going – it’s a muscle – it doesn’t get easier you get smarter!
